


Like many large companies, Dropbox has a employer brand dedicated to recruiting. A part of that is social media accounts under the name Life Inside Dropbox that display the company's culture and benefits, a workplace that has been named Best Place to Work by multiple sources including Glassdoor and Built In.
To have a stronger identity to be separated from the main corporate accounts, Dropbox asked for a logo for those accounts that fit in with the Dropbox brand and could also be used on employee swag. Options that were developed that emphasized unity and coming together as well as nods to the remote-first culture. The final that was chosen emphasized the latter with very clear references to a chat bubble and toggle.
